Palestinian shot dead after alleged car attack attempt


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) JERUSALEM: A Palestinian man died Tuesday from his injuries after being shot by Israeli forces during an alleged car-ramming attempt in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement.

Muhammad Abdallah Ali Musa, 26, was shot near the Halamish settlement, northwest of the occupied West Bank's administrative capital Ramallah.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that a Palestinian woman was also injured, while the Israeli military said it had no casualties.

The incident came shortly after three Palestinians were injured during an Israeli raid in the Qalandiya refugee camp late Monday.
