Singapore to limit the amount of its vehicles
(MENAFN) Starting from next February, Singapore will be limiting the number of vehicles on the streets.
The Land Transport Authority said the reason behind the restriction is the lack of land and public transportation improvements.
Singapore has already firm strategies to limit the amount of vehicles, as it recorded over 600,000 private and rental vehicles in 2016, including Uber and Grab cars.
The country has a Certificate of Entitlement system in which citizens will be bidding to have and use a car for a limited time.
