(MENAFN) A bomb was triggered and ignited the car of a Maltese journalist (Daphne Caruana Galizia) who was investigating the Panama Papers case, leading to her death.
Galizia documented several cases regarding corruption & politicians on a blog she was operating that goes by the name Running Commentary.
Thirty minutes before her death, she published on her blog: "There are crooks everywhere you look now. The situation is desperate."
Adrian Delia, Malta opposition leader, is certain that the death of Galizia was murder by politicians. He revealed that "Caruana Galizia revealed the Panama Papers and was the government's strongest critic."
