Qatar- Ministry to train students on plantation

Public Parks Management Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) is preparing to launch a tree plantation drive 'Izrah Wantak (farm your country) in 30 public and private schools across the country.
The initiative will be launched in collaboration with a local charity organisation 'Al Faisal without Boarder Foundation.
A preparatory meeting, to chalk out the plan of the drive for this year, was held at the headquarters of the Public Parks Management Department, said in a release.
Selected decoration plants and soil mixture will be added to the drive of this year and the plantation procedures will start from November 1. As per the plan, agricultural engineers from the Department will give practical training to the students on plantation and follow up throughout the growing plants and flouring. The students will receive training for planting different types of decoration plants and vegetables. The students can decorate the gardens of their schools with a verity of decoration plants and harvest vegetables that they cultivated from their own hands.
