(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai Civil Defense put out a minor fire in a car near a petrol station on Saturday
According to Dubai Civil Defense, their prompt response helped in putting out the fire quickly. The car was a few metres away from the petrol station in Dubai Festival City when it initially caught fire.
The staff of the petrol station alerted authorities and Dubai Civil Defence, who immediately rushed to the scene, preventing the fire from reaching the petrol station.
The driver of the car had managed to escape from the vehicle before the fire spread. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters put out the fire quickly with the help of the petrol station's staff who used fire extinguishers to aid in the operation.
Civil Defence teams found that the fire had started in the car's engine
