Bahrain welcomes the U.S. strategy towards Iran

Manama, Muharram 23, 1439, October 13, 2017, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed welcome of the strategy announced by U.S. President Donald Trump in which he asserted that Iran is the biggest terror-sponsoring country, how to deal with the Iranian nuclear arrangement and imposing sanctions on the Iranian revolutionary guard, confirming that this position is drawing the attention of all towards the importance of combating terrorism and its supporters to pave the way for the region and the world to become more secure and stable.
Bahrain lauded, according to the Bahrain news agency which carried the news, the clear-eyed policy issued by President Trump and his great keenness to prevent the spread of chaos and his steadfast to attempts of exporting terrorism carried out by Iran, noting that Bahrain is among the most harmed by the expansionist policy of the Iranian revolutionary guard which target destablizing the societies through spreading and supporting extremist thoughts and destructive terrorist operations which are unacceptable and could not be tolerated.
It reiterated its supportive positon for all endeavors which aim at preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and for the efforts aiming to combat Iran's financing for extremist militias in the region and supplying them with weapons, underscoring the importance of Iran's commitment to the respect of sovereignty of its neighbors and its commitment to international laws and norms.
