(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Zarqa, Oct. 12 (Petra)--President of the Hashemite University Kamal Bani-Hani met with a Romanian delegation led by Prince Radu and Romanian Ambassador to Jordan Nicolae Comanescu.
Prince Radu praised the distinguished reputation that has been achieved by the Hashemite University, noting that the Romanian side was willing to boost cooperation between Romanian universities and the Hashemite University.
He said that Romania is willing to offer scholarships to Jordanian students at Romanian universities in the medical, nursing, agricultural and environment fields and exchange teaching staff.
The Romanian ambassador stressed the embassy's keenness to support academic and scientific cooperation among universities from both countries to achieve common goals.
Presidents of Romanian universities, who attended the meeting, voiced their readiness to establish cooperation with the Hashemite University in the education and research fields.
