Aden, Muharram 19, 1439, October 9, 2017, SPA -- Yemen acknowledged having received 1000 tons of rice as donation from China, the first of an assistance consignment expected to reach Aden later.
In a statement to Yemen's news agency, the minister of Local Administration Abdulrahqeeb Fat-h, who chairs the higher committee for Yemeni Relief, said the consignment reached Aden as part of China's pledge to provide Yemen with Ywan150 million worth of relief assistance in addition to financing the World Food Program and the World Health Organization with $seven million to implement relief activities in Yemen.
