Oman- OSFA holds graphic design exhibition


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Omani Society of Fine Arts (OSFA) of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science recently held its second annual exhibition of graphic design at its headquarters.

Thirty-six artists took part in the event held under the patronage of Sheikh Siba'a bin Hamdan al Sadi, secretary general of the Supreme Committee for National Day Celebrations.

Mariam bint Mohammed al Zadjalyah, director of OSFA said that the exhibition of digital art gave the opportunity to those interested in the field to express their creativity, ideas, and experiences.

Winners of a competition were honoured. Yousef bin Mohammed al Balushi won first place, Yasser bin Ali al Dhanki, second place, and Mohammed bin Sulaiman al Harthy, third place. The competition was held under the theme, 'Employing and embodying the intellectual and material heritage of Oman and the Islamic heritage to highlight the deep-rooted Omani identity.'
