Jordan, Algeria to establish business council


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 2 (Petra)--The Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed on the sidelines of the Arab-Afrcan Forum that was hosted by Jordan, an agreement to establish a joint Jordanian-Algerian business council to develop economic ties between the two countries.

Through the council, the two sides will seek to forge stronger ties among business owners and enhance cooperation to serve projects, institutions and business associations in both countries.

Under the deal, which was signed by President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Nael Kabariti and President of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammed Al-Eid Bin Omer, the two sides will also work to expand communications, economic, trade, scientific and technical relations.

The two chambers also signed an agreement to boost economic, trade, scientific and technological cooperation among business owners from both countries.
