Abbas Zab of Pakistan wins squash event in Qatar

Abbas Zab of Pakistan claimed the first place in boys under-19 years category of the Doha Asian Junior squash tournament organised by Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation at the Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex which concluded yesterday.
In the final match, Zab defeated compatriot Mansour Zaman. Alereza Champly of Iran finished third.
The tournament featured the participation of players from Qatar, Pakistan, Iraq and Iran. In boys under-13 years event, Mohammad Khan of Pakistan defeated Yousef Faraj of Qatar to take the first place.
The Qatari players dominated the boys under-11 years event as Mohammad Awdah led the standings ahead of Jassim Talal Al Thani in the second place and Khalid Al Hamadi in the third place.
Saad Al Mohannadi, Executive Director of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation said that the event will help develop the skills of our players as they competed with players from other squash schools.
