Divorce wife, court orders Kuwaiti man Egyptian worker wins full indemnity
Egyptian worker wins full indemnity
Labor Court obliged a company to pay full indemnity to an Egyptian (former employee of the company) without referring the matter to the department of experts. In his submission on behalf of the Egyptian, attorney Thamer Mubarak said his client started working for the company since 2011 and his last job specification was supervisor with salary of KD 414. Attorney Mubarak continued that his client submitted his resignation due to constant delay of salary — which is against labor law, and after fulfilling the necessary procedure, the company declined to pay his dues for the end of service. The court based its decision on the fact that the defendant (company) did not file any document to deny and object to the claims made by the plaintiff in this regard.
