Kuwaiti oil price up 56 cents to USD 54.50 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 26 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up on Monday 56 cents to USD 54.06 per barrel compared to USD 53.50 per barrel on last Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Tuesday.

In world markets, oil prices were up more than 3 percent, after Turkish warning of freezing oil supplies ports in Iraq's Kurdistan region.

Oil crude price also up USD 2.16 and settles at USD 59.02, while the oil West Texas price reached USD 1.56 and settled at USD 52.22. (end) asj.mb
