Kuwait- 5 Asians acquitted


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: The Criminal Court acquitted a gang of five Asian expatriates who were charged with stealing electrical and mechanical tools and equipment from the truck of a company and selling the loot at a bakala in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh area.

The Public Prosecution had charged the gang of stealing the contents of a truck. The first and fourth suspect was also charged of violating the residency law. Lawyer Esmat Al-Kharboutly, who represented the expatriates in court, stressed on the invalidation of the arrest procedures due to lack of incriminating evidences and non-connection of the accused expatriates
