Pakistan team arrive in UAE for Test series against Sri Lanka


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, 24 September: Pakistan cricket team have arrived to the United Arab Emirates for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka.

The team comprising 16 players and nine officials left from Lahore's Allama Iqbal Airport on Saturday night. Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed said before the departure that Pakistan will miss Younis Khan and Misbahul Haq, who retried from Test cricket recently. He said Sri Lanka were a tough team and Pakistan will try their best to beat them. He said Pakistan will play at least two or three pacers against Sri Lanka.

The first Test between the two sides will begin on Thursday. Both the teams will also play five one-day and three Twenty20 matches.
