Kuwait- Police chase leads to liquor factory, arrest of two Asians

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: A person trying to avoid checking led security operatives to a liquor factory inside a flat in Mahboula area, and two Asian residency violators were arrested.

A security source said the officers discovered the liquor factory while chasing a person who started running upon sighting them on the road. He is said to have entered the flat and left the door open, and the officers called for backup when they realized the place was serving as a liquor factory.

They went ahead to search the flat, confiscated barrels full of local brew and arrested the two suspects. They were referred to concerned authorities.

Meanwhile, a Filipino expatriate was arrested near a grocery in Fahaheel area under the influence of liquor.
