Temperatures to Reach 47 Degrees Celsius in Parts of Morocco Sept. 18


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – Temperatures are expected to reach 47 degrees Celsius in Morocco's extreme southeast and southern provinces on Monday, according to the Directorate of National Meteorology (DMN).

Temperatures will range from 37 to 42 degrees in the extreme southeast of the kingdom and the north of the southern provinces.

Temperatures between 32 to 37 degrees are forecasted for Tadla, Tensift, Souss, and the southeast and northwest of the southern provinces, while temperatures will range from 26 to 31 in the eastern region, Saiss, Oulmes, the Atlantic plains, Rhamna and the interior of Abda and Chiadma.

Temperatures between 14 and 19 degrees are forecasted for the interior plains, Souss, and the northwest of the southern provinces. The kingdom's reliefs and northwest plains will see temperatures between 11 and 15 degrees.

Temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees in Morocco's southeast regions and the northeast of the southern provinces. High temperatures between 42 and 47 degrees are forecasted for the extreme south and southern provinces.

Winds will be moderate to fairly strong in Tangier, in the northern regions, the Atlantic coast,Safi, and the southern and eastern provinces.
