Death of 30 Burundian refugees in attacks with Congolese security forces


(MENAFN) Decisions for sending refugees home caused the death of at least 30 Burundian refugees during clashes with Congolese security forces.

According to violence erupted in April 2015, more than 400.000 refugees left Burundi, including 40.000 to neighboring Congo.


Moreover, a spokeswoman from UN stated that at least 18 Burundian shelter seekers killed, while other refugees to the U.N. peacekeeping missions nearby base.
