(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The grand finale of Nepal Idol 2017 is being held this coming Friday at the Asian Town Amphitheatre in Sanaiya. The finale will be jointly organised by Onix One International and Everest Nepal Youth Association.
Nepal Idol 2017 is a Nepali singing reality show aired by AP1 TV. The finale will see performances by top 12 contestants, an Indian reality show winner Teria Magar, singer Hemanta Rana, stand-up comedian Narad Khatiwada and pop singer Nalina Chitrakar apart from the top 3 finalists. The tickets of the show are priced at QR35, QR50, QR70, QR100 and QR200. Tickets can be bought from Nepali restaurants and also via q-tickets.com
An 85-member team is coming to Doha to arrange the show. Laxman Paudel, Director of Nepal Idol, and Sushil Nepal, Host of Nepal Idol, Chief Cameraman team leader Shibaram Shrestha and IT Head Dhananjay are already in Doha.
The show will be judged by Indira Joshi, Kali Prasad Baskota and Nhhyoo Bajracharya. The final contestants are Budhha Lama, Pratap Das and Nishan Bhattarai. Laxman Poudel said that
16,000 people will see the final live in Doha and it wouldn't have been possible in
Nepal.
The final of Nepal Idol 2017, associated with the Idol franchise, is being organised in Qatar because of its large Nepali population. The most number of electronic votes for the show were registered from Qatar. The finale will be shot with drones and 17 cameras and will be broadcasted live by AP1. The series aims to find new solo recording artists from across Nepal and the winner would be decided by viewers' votes through the Internet, telephone and text messages.
