London subway stationexplosion condemned
Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion which took place at a subway station in south-west London, wounding a number of people. In a statement yesterday, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons. It stressed Qatar's full solidarity with the British government and its support for all measures taken to maintain security. It also expressed Qatar's wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.

Qatari, French forcesconclude joint exercise
Qatari Emiri Naval Forces have concluded the marine exercise, which was conducted in partnership with their French counterparts in Qatar's territorial waters, The Directorate of Moral Guidance at the Ministry of Defence has announced. In a press statement, the Directorate said that the two-day exercise was conducted alongside the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces, by both the Qatari Emiri Air Force and the Special Naval Force of the Joint Special Forces and used a number of rocket-laden boats, along with the French frigate Jean Bart.

Citizens warned againsttravelling to Egypt
The Department of Consular Affairs at the Foreign Ministry has warned Qatari citizens against travelling to Egypt. In a statement today, the Department explained that this warning is because of the security measures imposed by the Egyptian authorities against the Qataris when entering Egypt.
