(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti jet-ski rider Abdullah Al-Fadhel won first place at the USA Jet Ski Marathon early Monday for the third consecutive year, for Modified and non-Modified stock category.
Al-Fadhel in a phone call with KUNA said this tournament is a preparation for the upcoming Havasu Lake tourney in Havasu City, Arizona, United States from October 2-10.
The Kuwaiti jet ski rider pointed out that the weather conditions were very difficult that he never faced before where the height of waves were from eight to 10 feet in the lake of Michigan, adding he was able to overcome all the difficulties as well as competing against American professional competitors and others from different nations.
Al-Fadhel dedicated this achievement to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. (end) ayr.ha
