Jordanian team win NASA Europa Challenge


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 3 (Petra) -- A Jordanian-Finnish team have won the NASA Europa Challenge, which was organized by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration with the participation of 21 teams from around the world.

The Jordanian team comprise Eng. Farah Salah, a Princess Sumaya University graduate and Eng. Khalid Al Sharif, a University of Jordan graduate.

The team ranked first for their World Weather application, which is a 3D/4D web app for interactive display of spatial data, typically satellite data, oriented to deliver weather and climate data. The first place was shared with AgroSphere application developed by an American team, according to the Jordanian team.
