Inflation rate in Iranian rural areas hits 8.8%


(MENAFN) The Iranian Statistical Center lately posted that the inflation rate in the rural areas during the 12-month period finished in the last day of the 5th Iranian calendar month of Mordad (August 22) have reached 8.8% in comparison with the exact time a year earlier.

The center further announced the figure indicated the same value from the inflation rate in the rural areas for the 12-month period ended to the last day of last calendar month, Tir.

Never the less, the Statistical Center further determined the point-to-point inflation rate in the rural areas at about 8.9% in Mordad.
