Bank explosion kills at least one in Kabul


(MENAFN) Officials said, an explosion stroke a bank in the Afghan capital on Tuesday, close to the difficult protected U.S. embassy compound, murdering at least one person.
Also, the blast stroke the entrance to a Kabul Bank branch, Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said.

In addition, the public health ministry said one person had been killed and eight wounded.

Moreover, there was no immediate approach of responsibility for the blast, which came as banks are busy with people withdrawing money ahead of the Muslim Eid holiday at the end of the week.
