Saudi Arabia denounces bomb attack on Afghan mosque
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, Aug 27 (KUNA) - The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the deadly suicide attack on a mosque in Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul two days ago.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stands by the government of Afghanistan in its efforts to combat extremism and terrorism, a senior diplomat told the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Sunday.
The attack, that took place at the Friday noon prayers, left at least 30 deaths and over 50 others wounded. (end) nh.gb
