Erdogan, May to hold talks on Cyprus' issues


(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that he had a phone discussion with British Prime Minister Theresa May saying that they have debated joint relations as well as local problems such as Cyprus" issues.

The two officials have underlined the significance of inking "a fair, lasting and comprehensive solution for both sides" though defeating the deadlock in the Cyprus dialogue.

On the other hand, the United Nations is looking forward to approve a peace agreement to connect Cyprus under the federal government.
