Morocco to build USD352.9mn world's biggest renewable plant
(MENAFN) Morocco will be home to the world's largest renewable energy desalination plant for drinking water and irrigation, trailing the signing of Phase One of the USD352.9mn project.
Meanwhile, the project will be improved by Abengoa, a global firm that applies innovative tech solutions for sustainability in the energy and environment sectors.
Furthermore, it also includes the building of a plant with a 275.000-cu-m total production capacity of desalinated water per day.
Additionally, the plant, which also offers for the option of being operated on wind power, meets the need of water for local use in addition to irrigation water needs in the cited area.
