Qatar- Prime Minister honours persons with disabilities


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani attended a ceremony held by national institutions to support persons with disabilities, marking the International Day of People with Disability (IDPD) held this year under the theme 'All Together ' in the Marriott Hotel yesterday.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honoured the athletes awarded in the Paralympic Games 2016, including Abdulqadir Abdulrahman and Paralympian Sara Hamdi Masoud, champions in Shot Put, and wheelchair racer Mohamed al-Kubaisi.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior then toured an interactive exhibition held on the sidelines of the event organised by national institutions for people with disabilities and listened to a detailed explanation on their efforts and achievements in many areas.
