Israeli forces kill young Palestinian, arrest another in Jerusalem
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Sep.5 (Petra) -- A young Palestinian was shot and killed, while another man was injured and detained after Israeli forces showered their cat with heavy gunfire in Sh'ufat refugee camp in occupied East Jerusalem .
The Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement that Israeli soldiers stormed the refugee camp and confronted with Palestinian young men, who threw stones and empty bottles against them.
The Israeli troops opened their fire at a Palestinian car in the camp, killing Mustafa Nimer, injuring and arresting his friend, whose identity and health condition remained unknown.
A state of high tension prevails in the camp with a large number of Israeli soldiers deployed in the area, the statement added.
