(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Sept. 4 (Petra)--Israeli forces on Sunday arrested 16 Palestinians during raids in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, according to a Palestinian sources.
The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission said in a statement that the occupation forces raided the cities of Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramallah and a number of neighborhoods in occupied East Jerusalem and arrested 16 citizens.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces closed entrances to a number of villages south of Nablus and clashed with Palestinians youth injuring a number of them.
The popular committee of the wall and settlement resistance committee in Nablus said in a statement that Israeli soldiers stormed a number of neighborhoods in the city and fired gas and live bullets during clashes with the Palestinian youths.
