(MENAFN) Qatar whole Producer Price Index (PPI) of the industrial sector reached an estimated 46.7 points, a growth of 4 percent in June.
However, on year-on-year basis the PPI declined by 25.3 percent for the month, as stated the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics.
On the other hand, industrial sector PPI covers goods relating to mining, electricity and water and manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the mining segment viewed an increase of 6.0 percent in the cited month, compared with the previous month due to the rise in natural gas prices.
