Oman Telecom to distribute 40pct interim dividend
(MENAFN) Oman Telecommunications Co. (Omantel) confirmed a proposal to pay an interim dividend of 40 percent among shareholders.
Moreover, the board also approved its fiscal results for H1 of this year, which achieved 9 percent growth in net profit to OMR66.8mn.
Meanwhile, whole revenue increased by 5.9 percent to OMR271.6mn for the cited period, up from OMR256.6mn a year ago.
In addition, operating expenses of the firm posted a marginal 2.4 percent increase to OMR77.7mn for the first half of this year.
