Six people killed in suicide attack in Baghdad


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, July 24 (KUNA) -- Six people were killed and 17 others injured in an attack north of Baghdad, said Iraqi police on Sunday.

An official in the Iraqi police told KUNA that a suicide bomber carried out the attack using an explosive belt among civilians gathering at the Aden square, near the road leading to Kazmia area, North Baghdad.

Meanwhile, no groups have claimed responsibility for the attack, but the source revealed that the way it was carried out points to the so-called Islamic State (IS). (end) aha.mys
