Two die as car crashes into McDonald's in Ajman


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A 45-year-old Indian woman and 10-year-old Iraqi boy died on spot when a car crashed into McDonald's fast food restaurant at a petrol station in Al Humaidiya area in Ajman

Four people, including children, were also injured during the incident.

The police said, a 23-year-old Emirati driver lost the control over the wheel as he suffered epilepsy attack while driving.

Speaking to Khaleej times Col. Abdulla Al Hamrani, Deputy Ajman Police chief, said that the young Emirati driver had the attack which caused him to be unconscious, after which he pressed the gas pedal which caused the car to crash at McDonald's.

The driver also received serious injuries. All were rushed to Khalifa hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
