Syria extends ceasefire for 72 hours

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, July 9 (KUNA) -- The Syrian army announced Saturday extension of a ceasefire nationwide for 72 hours, the General Command of the Armed Forces said in a statement.
The extension of the ceasefire will start today and ends on July 12, the statement, cited by the official SANA news agency, explained.
