Morocco, Hungary Willing to Develop Tourism Partnership


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Morocco and Hungary voiced their will to boost partnership in the tourism sector, mainly investment in spas and water cures niches, as well as sharingexpertiseon thermal tourismthrough training for the benefit of the Moroccan company for tourism engineering (SMIT).

This came in a meeting, on Monday in Rabat, of tourism minister Lahcen Haddad with Hungarian secretary of state in charge of policy of openness on the south Szilvester Bus, during which the two sides underlined the need to further reinforce bilateral cooperation via hotel and tourist training, participation in exhibitions and fairs held by the two countries as well as the setting up of a new air route between Casablanca and Budapest.

In a statement to MAP, Haddad said that Hungary has a good experience in the field of health and thermal tourism, and is a leading country in terms of spas and well-being. He added that Moroccan businessmen are investing more and more in strong value added niches.

Haddad also underscored the importance of diversifying tourism markets, noting that Morocco offers an array of tourist products and is a hot destination for Hungarian tourists.
