Morocco, Portugal to ink interconnection project


(MENAFN) Morocco and Portugal are in talks to ink an interconnection project, by Moroccan energy minister and Portuguese economy minister.

This first interconnection, with a capacity of 1,000 will help the two countries to exchange electricity.

Moreover, both sides are determined to make headway with this interconnection project, which will be organized well.

On the other hand, the project will also inject electricity from renewable sources in order to solve the issue of climate change.
