(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 5 (KUNA) -- Foreign Minister of Tanzania, Dr. Augustine Mahiga praised relations between his country and Kuwait, describing them as exemplary.
This came during a ceremony hosted by Kuwait's Ambassador to Tanzania Jassem Al-Najem on the occasion of the end of tenure for Oman's Ambassador to Tanzania, said a Kuwait Embassy statement Sunday.
Mahiga touched on the significant role played by Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and other Kuwaiti charitable and humanitarian bodies in Tanzania, saying that they have contributed to the welfare and development of the African country.
Al-Najem, on his part, said that the occasion was a good opportunity for both sides to probe wider horizons of cooperation, revealing the possibility of forming a working group to follow up on this matter. (end).
