Turkey's Ford Automotive ranks top exporter in 2015


(MENAFN) Ford Automotive, a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and Turkey's Koc Holding, was the country's top exporter through last year.

Consequently, the top carmaker exceeded oil refinery Tupras, which had been the champion for the last five consecutive years, based on the latest reports.

Specifically, Ford Automotive made over USD3.8bn in exports in 2015, followed by Tupras, with nearly SUD2.9bn in exports and Oyak Renault at around usd2.7bn.

Additionally, the key three exporters were followed by Kibar Foreign Trade Co at over USD2.4bn, Vestel at over USD2.1bn, and Tofas at over USD2 billion.
