Morocco seeks to Develop Strategic Partnership with Czech Republic


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Speaker of the House of Advisors (upper house), Hakim Benchamach, is visiting Prague to strengthen Morocco’s strategic vision under the wise leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, to develop strategic partnerships with international and regional powers.

The visit, to run until May 18, confirms Morocco's will to develop its partnerships and strengthen dialogue with both Houses of the Czech Parliament.

Relations between the two countries have witnessed in recent years a remarkable development, Benchamach told MAP on Sunday, stressing, in this regard, that HM the King's recent visit to this country has opened up new and promising prospects.

The visit is meant to give new impetus to economic relations and rise them to the level of bilateral political relations, Benchamach underlined, adding that Morocco, with its geostrategic location, offers real investment opportunities for Czech economic operators wishing to enter the African market.

During his stay in Prague, Benchemach will hold talks with Senate President Milan Stech, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka and members of the Czech government.
