Qatar- Abbas Meets Kerry in Amman
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman February 21 (QNA) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met in Amman on Sunday with the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
Spokesman of the Palestinian presidency Nabil Abu Rudeina told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the Palestinian arena adding that President Abbas stressed the efforts being exerted by the Palestinians within the international community to hold an international conference for peace and create a negotiating mechanism such as the P 5 +1.
Abbas renewed Palestinians' keenness to obtain an UN Security Council resolution condemning the settlements in the West Bank he added. (QNA)
