Jordan to increase commercial, investment trades with Algeria


(MENAFN) Jordan and Algeria plan to enhance the joint free trade agreement, increase commercial exchange volume and support establishing investments in both nations.

Accordingly, both sides are interested to improve economic collaboration in many fields to serve joint interests, stressing that the importance of exchanging visits.

In addition, under the agreement, signatories will exchange information on industrial activities, involving commercial, economic and tourist fields.

Jordan's export to Algeria in 2015 reached USD 150mn against USD 12mn of Algerian exports to Jordan, and called for increasing the Joint Jordanian-Algerian Business Council.
