Qatar- Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Saeb Erekat

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Algiers January 11 (QNA) - Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ramtane Lamamra met here Sunday evening with Secretary General of the Executive Committee and Head of the Negotiation Affairs Department of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Saeb Erekat During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two sides in addition to the permanent coordination and consultation in all bilateral regional and international issues.
Erekat is scheduled to meet later Monday with Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to brief him on the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and also to deliver him a message from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Saeb Erekat arrived in Algeria Sunday on an official visit at the invitation of Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ramtane Lamamra. (QNA)
