Jay Leno: Trump's 'nonsense' violates constitution
(MENAFN- Arab News) OSLO Norway: Former 'Tonight Show' host Jay Leno says Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's call for a ban on Muslims entering the United States violates the US Constitution.
He said in Oslo Friday that the constitution 'doesn't allow that type of nonsense that kind of ridiculous talk that you bar people because of their religion.'
He spoke at a joint news conference with singer Jason Derulo hours before the Nobel Peace Prize concert that Leno hosted and where Derulo performed.
Derulo called Trump's suggestion a 'ridiculous statement and I don't think anybody takes this seriously.'
The Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet received the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize Thursday for its 'decisive contribution to the building of a pluralistic democracy in Tunisia in the wake of the Jasmine Revolution of 2011.'
