Kuwait- GCC top legislators begin 9th meeting

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Nov 25 (KUNA) -- The 9th regular meeting of GCC consultative (shura) and legislative assemblies' chiefs began in Riyadh on Wednesday with participation of Kuwait National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim.The participants are discussing a number of topics related to the process of joint cooperation process among GCC countries and annual report of the 8th meeting that had been held at this level. Moreover they will be briefed by the GCC General Secretariat about the Council works.They will also tackle recommendations by the parliamentary and external ties committee prepared at a meeting at this junior level on November 15th. They essentially include topics of the draft agenda for today's meeting.Al-Ghanim's delegation includes MPs Ahmad Al-Gudaibi Dr. Ahmad Al-Aazmi and National Assembly Secretary General Allam Al-Kanderi.
