Report: Saudi Japanese cultural relations highlighted 2 Riyadh


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Kingdom has taken part in a number of cultural events in Japan topped by Tokyo international book fair in which it was annually participated since its being guest of honor of the 17th exhibition in 2010
As many as 500 female and male Saudi students are currently studying in Japan as part of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Foreign Scholarship with the Saudi cultural attache office supervising them and organizing a number of activities aiming to introduce newly-enrolled Saudi students to the Japanese cultural environment including educational lectures on personal interview test skills field tours of a number of Japanese universities and labs particularly to the University of Tokyo for Technology and the University of Tokai Japan's first educational facility to provide Islamic-oriented services including prayer sites and a Halal food restaurant.
The office also organizes the Career Day which attracts a host of Japanese multi-media which reported that Japanese companies have succeeded to recruit nearly 50% of Saudi Japan-universities-graduates over the last year.
