(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Lebanese political leaders discussed, during their 9th dialogue session, the candidates for the president of the republic in yet another bid to fill this vacancy.
Every political leader, meeting at the parliament under chairmanship of speaker Nabih Berri, presented the characters of any presidential candidate, official news agency reported.
the political leaders agreed to meet against on November 17.
They, meanwhile, discussed the trash crisis that has been engulfing the country since last July, and one of the solutions being proposed was sending the trash outside of the country.
The dialogue began in September this year to discuss a host of issues of common concern including the elections of the president, a post that has been vacant since end of Michel Suleiman tenure in May 2014. Political parties have so far failed to elect a president due to differences among them.
