(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) President of the Republic of Algeria Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Wednesday received Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mauro Iecker Vieira in the presence of Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra.
After the meeting, Vieira said he had the opportunity to convey to President Bouteflika the greetings of the Brazilian people and government, especially President Dilma Roussef who thanks him for his invitation for her to visit Algeria.
He added that he was able to listen to President Bouteflika's views on various regional and international issues as well as the bilateral ties.
Earlier in the day, Lamamra and Vieira co-chaired the first meeting of the Algerian-Brazilian Strategic Dialogue.
