(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Yemeni President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi expressed Wednesday appreciation of the support of the United States and the United Kingdom to legitimacy in his country and their efforts to put into effect the relevant UN resolutions.
This remark was made by President Hadi during his reception of US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Anne W. Patterson, US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew H. Tueller and UK Ambassador to Yemen Vuitton Brown in his temporary residence in Riyadh.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that Yemeni President also extolled US and UK's efforts to achieve peace in Yemen based on the UN resolutions and work out a mechanism for executing the relevant UN Security Council resolution No. 2216.
He also discussed with the US and UK diplomats the recent developments in Yemen and the Houthi militia aggression on various parts of the country.
For their part, the US and UK diplomats reiterated their countries support to Yemen's security, stability, unity and its constitutional legitimacy.
