(MENAFN) According to BMI Research, computer hardware sales in Qatar are predicted to reach USD1.09 billion by 2019, with a 5.2 percent increase in compound annual growth rate (CAGR) since 2014.
Meanwhile, the Gulf country's software sales will scale up to USD227.21 million by 2019, registering an 8.6 percent CAGR since 2014, BMI Research added in a report it released.
"The dominance of oil and gas in the local economy limits the size of the software market, but scope remains for growth in the enterprise market over the medium term," BMI Research said.
